KeauA dedication ceremony for the renaming of Kaneohe Community Park to Naonealaa A Kāneʻohe was held on June 30, 2021. In addition to the renaming of the park, the club unveiled a new cultural educational sign telling the story and significance of the area. The club has worked on this project for a handful of years and are thrilled to see it come to fruition. The blessing was conducted by club member Kawaikapuokalani Hewett. Uncle Dwight Kanae performed his 2019 winning Na Mele Koolaupoko original song composition “Naonealaʻa” for the audience. We mahalo all those who helped to bring this project to completion and all those who provided assistance with the dedication ceremony.
